StayCotswold is a marketing agent and therefore does not own any of the cottages listed on our website. In terms of cleaning and maintenance, the properties within our portfolio are managed by a third party property manager or the property owner – your pre-arrival email will contain confirmation and contact details for the person managing your property. Bookings made via us form a legal agreement directly between you and the property owner.

For bookings commencing more than 8 weeks in advance, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking. The balance payment is then due 8 weeks prior to arrival.

All payments are made subject to the cancellation policy set out in the standard Booking Conditions.

Location Information

Ringers Cottage is located in the peaceful and secluded village of Kingham, once chosen as 'England's Favourite Village' by Country Life. Set in the Evenlode Valley and with wide open village greens at its northern end, the village is bordered by elegant cottages, many dating from the 17th and 18th centuries. Kingham is a foodie destination, with its two highly-rated pubs: the Kingham Plough and The Wild Rabbit. It also hosts the annual Big Feastival at the local farm owned by Blur bassist, Alex James.
For your shopping essentials, there is a shop in the village and a number of supermarkets and independent retailers in both Chipping Norton and Stow-on-the-Wold.
If you are looking for a day out, be sure to explore the North Cotswolds' charming towns and villages of Stow-on-the-Wold, Chipping Norton, Burford, Bourton-on-the-Water and The Oddingtons. Nearby attractions also include The Cotswold Wildlife Park, Broadway Tower and the Cotswolds Distillery.

  • The maximum occupancy for this property is 4 guests. Infants do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, due to space restrictions the occupancy can only be exceeded by 2 additional infants (aged 2 or under)

  • No smoking or vaping is permitted throughout the property

  • Ringers Cottage has a lovely garden for guests to enjoy and it is important to the owners that guests are courteous and considerate towards the neighbouring properties. We politely request that guests do not disturb the neighbours and that loud music is not played outside after 21:00
  • Charging electric vehicles at this property is not permitted
Security Deposit

A security deposit of £150 is required for bookings at this property. This amount will be pre-authorised on your credit card 7 days prior to your arrival date and, providing no damage is reported, the pre-authorisation will be released 7 days after your departure. For the avoidance of doubt, guests are requested to leave the property in a reasonable condition, consistent with the property's appearance upon arrival.
